The overall objectives of the Federation are threefold:

a) To act as a focus for the VOICE of the countywide business community

b) To encourage the concept of economic growth through the PARTNERSHIP and NETWORKING of its members - including a Privilege Discount Scheme

c) To help its members aspire to high achievement through benchmarking or ‘best practice’ in financial, management and service PERFORMANCE These may effectively be summarised as - POLITICS, PARTNERSHIP and PERFORMANCE

The wider Mission Statement is accepted by members as an attempt to establish the ethos of its direction.

Membership is open to any business or professional organization in the County - employing from one person upwards, who wish to benefit from and contribute towards the declared objectives of the Federation.

The Federation will, as requested offer to assist in the formation of branch or subsidiary Federations - such as the already formed City Centre Trade Federation, the St Owen Street Trade Federation, The Herefordshire Hotel Trade Federation, the proposed Herefordshire Christian Business Federation and the Herefordshire Community Forum - whose constitutions will follow that of the parent Federation together with any additional clauses appropriate for their incorporation.
